  1. It is normal to have your own personal space. Even if you were married, it would still be normal, even necessary, really. Proper boundaries are absolutely necessary for any relationship to thrive.

This isn't a thing you should get all worked up over. I think a calm conversation, or maybe even a book recommendation, would be all it should take to give her the proper viewpoint.

I think you've done well so far.

  2. I like how you're explaining how being called a pedo is so much worse than being called a prostitute (it is) instead of addressing the issue of comparing the person you love to an abuser purely because of facial hair. I mean, you're presumably a woman, I would have bet you know what receiving unsolicited advice and comments on your appearance feels like, and how it can be harmful to your self-esteem. Yet the whole issue of nagging your partner seems to have just slipped by you, because of course it's okay to tell a man he looks like he rapes children. Not like some men haven't lived the experience of being side-eyed for taking care of their own children in public. Assumed to be abusers purely based on appearance. No, I'm sure OP's “advice” is not hurtful at all, she just doesn't want her man to be free to groom himself in ways the society deems inappropriate.

  3. Here's what might be a novel idea.

    Stop answering her calls.

    Stop responding to her messages.

If you see her in public, walk the other way.

Block every avenue of contact she could possibly use to get ahold of you.

And for the love of whatever gods you believe in, stop fucking her.

  4. That's totally fair that it wasn't obvious, he sounds like someone who is good at minor manipulations and getting what he wants out of pity. And I would say that he isn't the worst, but it's just clear that he has no respect for your feelings or your wishes, so I am relieved to hear you'll be ending it. This kind of behavior only gets worse when they realize they can get away with it.

  5. the answer to the question “should I cheat?” will always be no.

if you’re unhappy with your current relationship, you need to end it before starting a new one. end of story.
