Sometimes it's ok to give second chances, you just need to weigh up the pros and cons. Here, unfortunately, the cons are that you get injured or murdered. Also, if someone doesn't tell you something because they know it might turn you off them, that's how you know they put their own desires above yours. That alone is enough to leave someone over.
