Through reading this, I thought maybe he is on the spectrum… and then your edit ahhaha. There are social cues that just flies over the heads of people on the spectrum (myself included) and we get along much better with other neurodivergent folks because of it. Neurotypical people can tell there is something off, they just don't know what. Most assume the worst or don't try to socialize with us because of it, no matter how nice we are.
