Yeah I am wondering if this is the case. It doesn't rule out cheating; he could very well have had a brief fling with her. In fact, that makes the extortion more likely. “Give me money or I show your wife proof we slept together.”
And no he doesn’t work night shift he just has a crap sleep schedule from playing video games until 2 am. He’s been working on it and even when he goes to sleep early he still does this. He says he’s always been like this and doesn’t like how it makes him late. How can this be fixed?
He needs to start consistently going to bed around idk 10pm or 11pm and sticking to that for a while.
Stop all screens and video games at 9pm
If you have to do the same to help enforce him, do it as well.
