If you’re comfortable with the situation- then it doesn’t matter if others aren’t. Your boundaries for your relationship are yours and if it’s a matter of — doing this thing that may be a tad strange makes us feel more confident, I don’t see the problem. And for the record I agree that a lot of people read into others actions and it causes speculation- ie Amy and Sam text a lot, they say their friends but come on, we all know the truth. That convo very much happens at the bar with overly friendly coworkers- people can tell themselves whatever they want- if they are that close with another person gossip IS happening.
Maybe you should also learn to take women's boundaries seriously. You fucked her then didn't think about her. She stuck to her word. That says a lot more negatively about you than it does her.
