Spending less time with someone you're in love because your gf feels uncomfortable with you spending SO much time with her isn't unreasonable. OP was asking about traveling disconnected, not traveling full stop.
So yes she can travel, but if she wants to go overseas, or travel for more than a week, then she should have some regular communication times set up.

I totally understand that you asked him to go to the dr and get scans due to his personality flip. Been there.
Is there any chance he’s on ADHD meds or self medicating with anything “speedy”? I ask because I’ve seen more than one friend on ADHD meds, speed, or coke flip personalities like this overnight.
Otherwise, maybe this is just who he is when you’re being healthy??
