Look this reminds me a lot of my ex, except we were both adults when we met. I was 20 and he was 24 I think. We were together a total of 1 year. But he was obsessed on getting married, he wanted to get married by a certain age blah blah. Gosh the dude told me he loved me after one month together, like who does that. Anyway I didn't want to get married, I didn't want to get married that young and I wanted to finish collage first (I had 2 more years) . He was pressuring me so much to the point I had health problems from all the stress. Eventually I said yes we can get married so we started sort of planning and telling people we were engaged even though he never truly proposed or gave me a ring. I think my friends knew something was wrong. We broke up soon after. Of course I was sad and all that but finally I could see all the red flags and everything that went wrong. My advice to you RUN! I would have been misarable if I stayed with the ex. I actually met my now husband a few months later and we've been together ever since, almost 12 years.
