You're absolutely right. There will be a next thing you'll have to give up and a next thing after that. It'll never end the number of times she'll say you have to put her needs before your own in order to prove your dedication to her. In a healthy relationship 2 people build eachother up and allow for one another's wants, needs and building of a happy, well adjusted life. This is not allowing you any happiness or growth.
You and your partner need to set firm boundaries regarding your aunt and you both need to enforce them, no questions asked. When she stomps them (and she will), you need to ask her to leave (or not let her in if she shows up unexpectedly). Tell her if she wants to be a part of YOUR child's life, she needs to respect you and your partner as parents and if she can't do that, she will not be allowed to visit.
