Well if you say you love her to death, you're going to have to deal with it so you don't cause friction because of alcohol. this was super invasive, no matter how she worded it the message was abusive and controlling: I have every right to take advantage of your vulnerability (sleep) to destroy something important to you just because i feel threatened cuz you shouldn't have an emotional life outside of me.
Also she specifically chose to do it when you were asleep why?? cause she assumed you wouldn't allow it if you were awake, and she didn't care why, she just knew she didn't want you to have something only yours that was unrelated to her.
