4. Ouch. Tricky situation to navigate, especially considering that you're 6 weeks old in getting to know each-other.

   Its a shame you couldn't have attended the event, that would have been a great step up in the connection and solidify your position more.

   I feel this conversation would be more appropriate in a months time.

   Such as:

   Hey, we've been seeing each-other for a couple of months now, and obviously we're getting a bit deeper + more involved.

   However, I do have a concern and I hope you can understand my side as genuine feelings are developing.

   I just want to protect myself in this situation. I have noticed that you're still close with your ex and I am struggling to navigate with this.

   I would like to get your side of your story about where we are at and what's going on with your ex.

   I know some people:

   Cold turkey no contact ex Phase ex out over time Maintain friendship with ex

   Its hot to decipher where on that spectrum she is. Clearly it ain't #1.

   I could handle 1 & 2. But I respectfully bow out on option 3. I would rather not have a relationship where I go through those mental battles, if that makes me insecure, so be it. I know I could go elsewhere where none of this is a factor.

5. You’re a terrible parent and a terrible human. Missed out on your sons birthday because you chose to be with the child you groomed. You were relieved when your son left for college. Now you have a child with the the child you groomed. Disgusting.
