Forget her, she showed a lack of character and was setting you up for a dysfunctional relationship. What I do in these situations is just ignore them, she wants to add you then go ahead but don’t initiate conversations or act interested in her anymore. How would he possibly receive an app notification from and app that is not on his phone? The apps send notifications, if you don’t have it they can’t send it. Even if you had it before, if it’s not there now there’s no way for it to be generated.
If it were a notification via text or email about the app then maybe. But, even then if you have deleted your account how would they notify you. They would no longer have your account active with info. The account would still need to be active.
In other words, he’s a weak partner, does not ever contribute his fair share, and you feel lucky he does a few chores?
