Just be open. My husband just left me saying “he's been asking me to see a therapist for years.” I never once heard that. A few times over the years when I was venting about something, he would say “you should talk to someone.” I always took it as he was annoyed to be listening, not that he thought there was a problem. She wants him to work more for her benafit, he wants to work less for his benafit
If you think one is selfish you should think both are selfish since they are BOTH putting their needs ahead of their partners

When you email these people about needing their contributions or to set up meetings, cc your manager. That way she knows you're doing your due diligence to try and get a things done properly and on time.
