I don’t like texting because I can’t hear voice inflection and so many nuances can be misunderstood or missed all together.
But in the modern world nobody calls each other anymore.
So I settled on a compromise that worked when I was dating someone who really wanted to communicate all the time via texting: voice notes. And photos.
Like many things this all starts with talking to your partner directly and clearly about your desire and really listening to his response. Maybe you can find a compromise that works for you. Maybe not. But you will never know if you don’t talk about it.
