well, you can only ask. As far as they are concerned, you are just telling them that it is on her to take charge of her membership, not you. The gym cannot force you to keep paying for somebody else's gym membership that has their own name on it. They will have to get their money from her.
and i suspect if you explain the situation to them, they will likely offer the fee to you because they'll at least get something from you as opposed to nothing from her if she has to pay.
