I don't know how to quite explain it, but I'd say when I meant “emotionally driven” i think I tend to think with emotions first (e.g. this makes me feel sad and then i can explain why) when I communicate, he sticks with facts and then doesn't necessarily speak or explain how he's feeling with any emotions (I'm angry, I'm sad, etc).
