The feelings she has are natural (and understandable). However, the way she’s dealing with them is not healthy. You two are 30+ year olds, it’s naked to make friends and you’ve made the best out of a shitty situation regarding your ex. Your partner might never be 100% OK with it, but shutting down when trying to talk things out is a trademark of the spiral that comes from intrusive thoughts.
Your gf needs therapy, and she needs to realize that if you cut your ex, you’re potentially cutting out your whole friend group (which isolates you) and may lead to resentment. She also needs to remember that thoughts aren’t truth. I don’t know if there’s other behavior that has set this off, but you need to get to a place where you can actually discuss reasonable boundaries and work on building trust.
i believe it’s don’t leave the house as in don’t go stay or live somewhere else, not don’t leave it at all. not married or a lawyer but afaik the idea that you “abandoned” the house can really hurt you legally.
