This guy is a walking red flag. He's too old for this. You're too young for this. An adult man should not be putting his emotions on you (especially when you're going through so much already). I have Samsung note 20 and even my old notes from older device shows correct date. But I have cloud sync on. That being said, it's possible for programming error or user error that the date is reset. Is there an update on the same day and time? You can see last update date from system update in settings. If update reset the date then it should be close in time. I still couldn't judge with certainty.
Sounds like your gf considers this a long term relationship with high potential of marriage, kids, etc. It also seems like you are in a different financial situation than she is and therefore can afford to purchase your own home, but you seem to either be an asshole or willfully ignorant of the situation.
2.5 years is a long relationship and cutting your girlfriend out of your future home buying plans will most likely result in a break up. If you don’t consider this relationship serious or see a long term future with her, just break up with her now. Buying a home without consulting her is extremely insulting and clearly shows that you don’t value her opinion unless she has money to add to the situation. What happens if you two have kids and she stays home to care for them – would that make her opinion on future purchases obsolete?
Sounds to me like you don’t consider this relationship serious and don’t plan on including her in your future plans / purchases. That’s fine – but don’t string her along. Couples who plan to spend their lives together typically consult each other on large, life changing purchases. If that’s hot for you to understand then that just means you shouldn’t be in a long term relationship right now.
