I'm kind of confused. You are in love with this person, right? As in you have feelings for your partner, right? How does all of that magically go out the window the moment said partner tells you they are trans?
I would understand if your partner looked male that you would be less/not at all attracted to them once they started dressing and looking more feminine.
But from what I've understood the person literally just told you about this so there hasn't been any actual changes yet?
Just tell them that you aren't attracted to females so once they start appearing more feminine you likely won't be sexually/romantically attracted to them anymore, but that you would still love to keep a close friendship.
