My great uncle did this to his ex-wife. She supported him all through medical school and then he left her for someone else. Turns out he's not a good partner and she divorced him too, even with all his doctor clout and $$. He's alone in a nursing home now because his kids don't like him. Personal opinion, a 50yo person shouldn't have children anymore. Too far away (too disconnected with the youth) and also very honestly, will realize more and more that there is no more energy to take care of a child 24/7. Like, if the child lives at home let's say ubtil 20,25, she'll be 70+. Don't do this! It will fall back on you or on other people in your family.
