My ex bf was also a cosplay photographer, but he slowly turned into one after 1 or 2 years of dating. He started following Naked models etc. And I hated it with every bit. We broke up because he sadly put hot girls over me for a photoshoot and many more. At the beginning of the relationship we both liked anime and Cosplay, but after he started having private shootings, I felt he crossed a line. It will jump conclusions and I end up saying things connected to what the other person just said 3 conclusion ahead, mixing them up often.
What realky helps me to slow down is a question: “Oh, how did you get there? Weren't we just saying this and that?”
It makes me reverse gear explain my conclusions/ thoughts and take the other one back on board.
Side effect: brain is able to listen to Chinese TV shows, read english subs and store new Chinese vocabulary away ready to use in German. (I don't speak Chinese, actually. It's just a fun passtime to watch foreign culture shows. But I do speak German and English.)
