   Yeah, sometimes life sucks. :-/ Things can be kind'a random too.

   Well, at least you had the one friend show up.

   And … no shortage of good food! 🙂

   And … probably not too many squabble s about what to do or chose or such … with only 2 people having input, rather than about 17. And much easier cleanup with 2 rather than 17, eh? Oh, and no shortage of yummy leftovers. You get to continue celebrating for … what, a good week or more with all that food?

   Don't sweat it … there will always be other days … and other birthdays … at least until there aren't. 😉 But no rush on that.

   Oh, and rain checks can be good too.

   And … sometimes I've had great birthdays (last one was pretty awesome … very small number of folks, but still excellent) … decade before that … meh … whole day, didn't even meet with anyone I knew … oh well, went for a nice long walk at least. So, … stuff varies, … sometimes better/great, … sometimes not so great. And sometimes kind'a randomly.
