He should been at your side, job permitting, apologizing for not realizing that you needed surgery. Instead, everything and everyone is more important. Why do you want to stay with someone who has shown you that he doesn't care you or your well being. Literally the girl you called and took you to the hospital, cared more about you than your bf.
