Personally, if I'm dating someone, I'd want to be there with them for important events. I know people aren't always into things that their SO are into. And that's fine. But you should want to support your SO in things. Also, I don't understand why after all this time she hasn't met your mom. That to me would make me pause, especially with marriage plans.
