  1. Hello /u/throwawaythemix3005,

Your post was removed for the following reason(s):

Your title did not include at least two ages/genders or was not formatted correctly

    Posts must:

include details about the involved parties including ages, genders, and length of relationship, and

request advice in real situations involving two or more people

We are enforcing the two rules listed above by making all titles use the following formatting:

[##X][##X], [## X][## X], or [##-X][##-X] where ## is the age and X is the gender (currently M, F, T, A, NB, FTM, MTF but more can be added). You can have more than two ages/genders listed, but you must have at least two. Here is an example:

[34NB][88-F] We are two people in an example post

Please resubmit with a corrected title.

  2. ”I plucked up the courage to make a move… we shared our first kiss together. It was deep and meaningful and revealed that she like me the same way”

  3. Being immature doesn’t necessarily make you a bad person, but it can make you a bad romantic partner.

It’s not totally a lost cause, but look—my husband and I started dating at 17 & 18 and were happily married at 21. I have never once felt the need to tell my husband how he compared to any other men that we knew, and he has never made me feel compared to another woman. Being in a healthy relationship requires a certain level of self awareness and concern for your partner’s well being and happiness. There should be no delight in putting each other down.

You can’t control how other people behave, but you can control your actions. You need to set some boundaries for yourself: the whole comparing-you-to-other-men has to stop, perhaps cutting ties with her live friend if the relationship genuinely makes you concerned for her emotional loyalty (male, female, parent, sibling—whoever it is—if someone is causing strive/jealousy between you and your partner, you can ask them to cut ties with them, or at least stop involving you in their relationship. That’s not being possessive.) Definitely dig deeper into any issues with sex—more often than not, issues in bed are a reflection of other things going on in the relationship.

If she genuinely respects your boundaries, great! Make sure that you’re also listening to her. If she gets defensive or starts getting nasty with accusations of you being overly jealous—you have your answer for where the relationship is headed.

In a healthy relationship, if you say,”Hey, this thing you’re doing is really hurting me,” if someone’s response is anything but,”Okay, let’s sit down and talk about that. Let’s see if we can come to an agreement,” then they are not the person for you. Name calling, changing the subject, shifting focus on something you’ve done, downplaying/denying your feelings, etc. are all bad signs from a partner when you’re expressing a concern.

  4. Man, idk if you can come back from that…she was working so hot to not be the one person you called her…

  5. You are soulless. Devoid of decency. And undeserving of love from your son and his family. Seek help.
