Considering the above statements, it didn’t seem super helpful to be another comment telling her to leave. She has made a decision to stay with him and take birth control while hiding it. If she doesn’t want this to blow up in her face then the pill isn’t the best course of action

The only way to have the conversation is to have the conversation. If things are going along well with the two of you now, the best way for you to get her to open up is to be honest and to simply communicate with each other. Take her out or get food, whatever your routine date is, and just talk to her about this. Don’t be afraid to talk about your feelings in a calm and rational way, because most women actually appreciate it when men do that, and don’t overthink it, and you should be fine.
This is animal neglect. I feel so sad for that baby. Cats usually over groom when they are stressed or under stimulated by their environment.
I don’t have any sympathy for people who treat their pets as if their needs are less important that ours. When you get an animal, you commit to taking care of it (good care) for its entire life. They are like forever babies and depend on us for everything. It’s not fair to this cat how it’s being treated right now.
Your girlfriend sounds immature. It sounds like she thought getting a pet would be fun and cute, and then grew bored of the cat when it wasn’t perfect. Also, she should have never gotten a cat when she knew she had allergies. I would break up with her and take the cat. At this point I feel like the cat’s life is more important than your relationship. I couldn’t date someone who treated an animal like this.
