My dad is in denial and gaslights me, saying he would’ve let me do anything I wanted. Meanwhile when I lived at home he was saying I can’t date anyone, if I had any male friends he got extremely possessive and jealous. Then he stopped letting me leave the house because I failed an exam – in a subject he wouldn’t let me drop, because I knew what my limits were.
