That's a tough balancing act. Just so you know, the relationship I was talking about didn't work out. It was too tiring dealing with someone who was passive to a point that she didn't seem like her own person in the relationship and the direction of the relationships started feeling like one giant guessing game. I would say making assertive decisions based on what you know about her when she's indecisive would let her know you're still taking charge, but also care enough about her to be able to know her personality and desires.
