I think Joebranflakes meant that OP had had his father’s support, financially and everything else, for his whole life, whereas the half-sister just had her mom and possibly more limited resources until now. (Although we don’t know if there was a stepfather.)
He’s trying to be nice. He’s definitely not treating you like a child. Maybe it’s a bit much, but you are making problems where there are none. If you don’t like how he is, that’s a compatibility issue so just break up. There’s nothing nefarious or some sort of like psychological weirdness going on.
Add to the most recent list the one who hooked up with his “straight” roommate. Yet he posted it on 15 different threads and made 4 updates.
Actually I disagree about Sami's reasons for staying with him. I believe she is just an extremely compassionate person who takes her vows seriously. She wants to know that she can live with her own conscious by not dumping him when he is at his low point. Yes he's an ahole, but she is doing this for her own peace of mind and I commend her.
