That’s a fair point, I would never dare tell my parents that I was dating a 30 year old man. They’d kill me. I think you’re right about being with people my age, it’s hot for me to make friends but I definitely am trying more. I thought it was weird the first time he told me about his feelings, but then I kinda believed him when he said that relationships with age gaps work out all the time and it’s not the hugest deal in the world.

You’re right, we can always video call when he’s in town, but he’ll be in the back country 1-2 weeks at a time. In an emergency I can have someone call his radio, but no cell service. I think that’s what I’m truly worried about.
