That’s what I’m saying! Apparently the bride specifically said “no +1s” including for spouses. I do know several people in the wedding party, and their spouses as well. It’s just odd that Miss Bride gets to have her fiancé there, but she’s dictating that nobody else is allowed a partner.
Also, I can see if I had never met the bride and groom before. But I feel like I know them pretty well. They were my husband’s friends first. But we’ve all hung out together plenty of times and I thought we got along just fine. So it’s not like I’m some Joe Schmo.
And again, if it was a normal bachelor party of groomsmen only… that would be a different story. But when it’s going to be a bunch of guys and girls for a multi-day trip, and +1 spouses are strictly forbidden to come… you have to admit it’s a little weird.
Get back together and enjoy it while I can, even if I know I feel like it won’t work out.
you’ve got a lot of growing up to do. people are not test runs for you to enjoy yourself for however long you so choose. odds are he saw a future with you, and it’s kinda messed up that you would entertain this knowing basically the whole time you didn’t see a future.
leave him alone. he deserves someone who will actually appreciate him and not enter a relationship they are hesitant about from the start. going forward you should actually consider if you see a future with this person and if you don’t, don’t drag them through the mud for months while you “stick it out” and “enjoy it while you can.”
You've only known him for 3 months you do not have to give him your history. Let me tell you what's going to happen if you tell him he's going to tell everybody in your office and then he's going to kick your ass to the curb sorry to be harsh but that's what's going to happen everybody in the office is going to be looking at you as if you're a w**** and then you will lose your job. If only one other person in the world knows what you have been doing leave it alone you don't have to be totally honest with somebody who you've only known for 3 months.
