My “don't bother” was probably harsh and hurtful. I was hurt, and this wasn't the first time. I knew what was coming. But maybe the way forward is to give more time, again, to make it right.
It sounds like he may need inpatient care, or he just has shitty doctors along with his shitty insurance. Can you add him to your insurance or upgrade his to get better care of before you decide anything major?
Of course you want to exhaust all options first, but you have to prioritize yourself first when you’ve given someone else 100% of whatever you can give and it hasn’t helped.
NO ONE benefits if you have a stroke or a heart attack trying to take care of him. If it gets to the point where he is a lost cause, don’t let it get to the point where you are a lost cause with him. This sucks for you both, I wish I could be more help.
