Kudos to her for the way the brought it up. Personally I've had two partners with herpes and I've never caught it. As long as they know their signs of a outbreak coming soon, and they take their medicine I don't see an issue with it. Once undetectable it's untransmittable. So tbh I don't see it as a big deal.
