I agree with this, OP if you suddenly stop cooking his meals and doing his laundry and washing his dishes after he's ate then eventually he is going to run out of clean clothes and plates to eat off and will have no choice but to do so.
My ex sister in law is engaged to her man for 20 years now and for 10 years she would get the kids to school, go home and do everything for him, do everything with and for the kids after school and then go on his evening shift job. All while he sat there eating his body weight in chocolate and crisps and drinking full fat coke, he would leave all the empties stacked up around him knowing that she would clean it. His excuse? ” I'm a taxi driver and we are used to doing nothing”
She stopped doing everything except what the kids needed and extended her hours at work, eventually he started doing it himself and it gave him the motivation to do something. Now he works just as many hours as she does, he walks the kids to school (2 mile walk there and 2 back every day) he is back playing rugby, runs every day and takes the kids to all their after-school activities.
Sometimes all they really need is a kick up the backside.
Do not feel bad. You misjudged her character.
You have learned a lot about people who are selfish.
She is counting on you to “be nice” but don’t do it. Get an attorney. Get a divorce. Go ride the rails but stay safe.
Explain why you're leaving though, don't just ghost.
