Is this the person you want raising your children? My dad was always emotionally dysregulated and now as a 32 year old I’m riddled with anxiety and am constantly on high alert for others’ emotions, especially mens’ because I don’t want to accidentally say or do the wrong thing and piss them off. I’m always walking on eggshells and am constantly in fight or flight.
He’s teaching your son to be a people pleaser and to stop voicing his needs, which I bet he’ll stop doing soon if this keeps happening, which it will. Your husband is a cruel man, this is not okay for you or your children.

As I’ve said in other comments, I am unsure. I wasn’t at the doctors appointment. It may not be available in your country
Especially as a teacher. It's potentially career ending if someone else ever found out..
