You should feel disappointed,
Disappointed that you like someone, but they are taken. That is normal.
You should feel grateful. Grateful that love exists in this world and you are capable of feeling love for someone.

Finally you should deal peace. Find peace in it, set your standards for the next individual you fall for.
Her boundaries must be respected.
If you were dating her, you wouldn’t want some dude hitting on her and getting involved etc. so never do anything to cross that boundary.
At 30 you should have these things figured out. I will assume you have a limited dating past.
Move on, and find someone who is available to give you what you need in this world.
I agree completely. If they can’t take care of them, they shouldn’t have them. Even poor people can take care of their pets if they make an effort and aren’t brain dead!
Some people don't like the idea of not having their own space, or being able to be by themselves. By the sounds of it, in your idea you two would be spending those 3 (or however many) months together, living together and not separated. Perhaps he isn't all that interested in thar step yet? You're both young, and shouldn't be too concerned by it. If it's such an issue, confront him and ask why he wouldn't want to spend X amount of time with you.

First, hes not going to hold a grudge. Speaking as someone with serious mental illness this is still on him. Like, its not his fault that he has it, it is his fault he did not disclose it before it affected you. He's the one who owes you a huge apology here.
Psychosis is personality altering. That isn't him. Sometimes the “demons” people have a literal, just not from a religious standpoint.
Take some time, stop overanalyzing this and breathe. Let him get out, talk to him, see where talking goes. You're not going to make a good decision unless you put the decision off until you get to talk to him after he gets out.
If her dad would give her free rent, she should ask her dad to pay. There's nothing unfair about what your parents are doing.
