Thank you for this! I suspected that she might have a BPD, but as you mentioned I cannot be certain nor confirm as neither of us is not a psychologist. I did speak to a therapist and she said these were signs of borderline. I am doing better and have been active in therapy since the incident. Even reaching out to friends and family who validated my feelings and made me realize that I was not crazy about what I experienced. And that it was very unhealthy and abusive on many levels. I just want her to be accountable for how she treated me, but unfortunately she never will

It's pointless for the person who is ready to get married to ask the person who's dragging their feet. The person dragging their feet needs to show some initiative and say “Let's do this”, or honestly you shouldn't get married.
If you think about it, proposing is really saying “yes” to the person who was ready first.
