Book yourself a weekend away, just you and your children, tell him on the Thursday night that your away on Friday night through to Sunday. I answered that in another thread but I got injured and slowly stopped doing the chores and then I got pregnant and completely stopped doing anything and it lead to lots of fighting which lead to the separation

Definitely. You not only aren't required to “fix” anything, but you shouldn't. I don't know or care what all went into the behavioral changes over the last year, but she's manipulative and also lying as to why you are no longer together. If you aren't happy, and she's giving you more reasons to be unhappy, it's time to move on. There's no point in agonizing over something that sounds as if it gets worse as time goes on.
