I'm actively looking into it right now. A friend recommended a therapist that he sees about his relationship with his girlfriend, and its been helping the both of them. I just wonder if I've waited too long to take this route and that it's too late, but it's worth the effort if I have any chance of salvaging what we've built together.

Or, alternatively, he’s aware that she has an entire half of her sexuality that isn’t being fulfilled by being with him, and that there is nothing he could ever do to fulfill that desire. Since it’s not a man, he doesn’t have to deal with the insecurities that come from your woman being with another man, and so is more comfortable allowing her to explore that side of herself on her own time so long as he isn’t directly involved.

You need to be honest and talk it through with your wife.
Because 1. Either you talk it through, you realise what your problems are and you can plan for them or
You both realise that you won't get what you want out of the relationship. If you stay in it and go with what she wants, then you might always resent her for forcing a lifestyle change on you. Even worse you might resent the kid and that'll be terrible for the blameless child. Or she finally found out when it's kinda too late that you don't want them and she will forever resent you for wasting her life. (The latter happened to my wife's best friend, whose husband kept saying “yep I want kids when x occurs” and kept moving goal posts until it was too late, then he turned round and said “I never wanted kids”)
