Everyone is capable of rage given the circumstances. I don’t think you have done anything wrong here. This may be something she needs to work out with a professional.
She's gotta learn to communicate her issues then. Maybe she feels like she wasn't safe to, or you weren't receptive to open and honest communication, but that's still not an excuse to do what she was doing. Sounds like she needs therapy and a lot of work on her self esteem. Just don't sacrifice yourself to sunken cost fallacy. I get the kid aspect, trust me. It's tough. You know alt doesn't end at feminism right? People who are typically anti establishment fight for all oppressed. Other races, disabled people, less protected groups (elderly/children) etc etc

This is an every one sucks here situation. You because you keep her as a “friend” but you don’t want a friend, you want a girlfriend. The gifts hoping for a relationship and then getting mad when she loves someone else is not a friend. It is someone being a “nice guy” thinking it will lead to more. Her because she really thought this guy would leave his wife for her. Her sending that picture wasn’t to protect the wife it was to speed up the break up she imagined. You’re both giant hypocrites
You could also try calling and see if there are options for post-poning. If it’s a small fee, it might be worth it. Or you can go anyways and do your own thing. I personally would probably break up with him and see if he can room with his cousin. That’s just straight disrespectful to you.
