Yeah I was going to say this exactly. The people I’m always suspicious of are the ones who are like, overly charming with everyone and will basically do whatever it takes to be perceived in the way they want to be perceived. That to me is a much bigger red flag than someone who sometimes doesn’t fit in with others.
Narcissistic people put on quite a show, and she has you all fooled. She’s not innocent, and her boundary breaking isn’t a personality trait. It’s a manipulation tactic. She’s latching on to your bf whether she’s attracted to him or not, people like that don’t care they just want the attention.
On the off chance that she’s just really clingy as a person and it’s not really working for you guys, it still means youre incompatible as friends.
She may genuinely think you all are closer than reality, or she may be blurring lines when it comes to being vulnerable with friends and attempting inappropriate intimacy.
Either way, she’s made you both incredibly uncomfortable and she has some growing up to do. most people I’ve met that your friend sort of reminds me of, grow up and out of that sort of behavior. The rest don’t, and I don’t think it’s worth sticking around to figure out.
