nah. If you are gonna claim something to be super sentimental but manage to leave it in a foreign country I am gonna argue that it wasn’t that big of a deal. He left there and it accidentally got tossed. He should’ve said something to OP sooner about it if it was so sentimental he was gonna get OP to rebuy it.

This whole thing is fishy on her end. She wants to baby trap you, even though she's agreed to a divorce. Regardless of any of this, don't feel guilty for not wanting to be with a toxic person. A baby will not make anything better, you will just be miserable people raising a child.
You cannot change an abuser. Your only real choices are to leave, or to accept the fact that he will continue to escalate the abuse over time and isolate you from all your other loved ones.

And when he said that I didn't know him at work the same way he “didn't know or care what I said away from him” really showed that I didn't know him or this side of him apparently. Everything seemed to be going great when he showed me the written review of his training assignment that came back really well, but was probably destroyed because of what he did
