1. Okay, im going to play devils advocate here a little: how often do you spend time hanging out with your sister? What do you do? How often do you have conversations that arent about your girlfriend?

   Because im in a sort of similar situation- my sister got into a relationship last year, and while i think her boyfriends great and im very happy for her, it is frustrating that i never get to spend time with her without him. In this case, theres isnt a ldr, but i do on-line far away during term time- and ahes always with him, or on the phone with him. I cant call her without it being a three way call with him, i cant hang out with her without the topic turning back to him, i invited her over for my birthday last year and hosted her for a weekend and she talked about literally nothing else. All weekend. Just about him or about how much she missed him because he spends some of the holidays in a different country with his mother. I do think its unfair of your sister to say this stuff about how your putting your life on hold and stuff, but also… do you have a healthy balance of girlfriend to family? Because it sucks when you go from being pretty close with a sibling to just being a permanent third wheel.

   I mean, im also not saying your sister is in the right. Shes being unnecessarily harsh about your relationship and needs to communicate better. But its possible this can be solved by putting everything on the table and figuring out what both your issues are, because it sounds like shes just lashing out because of the change in your relationship with her.
