Honestly at this point you’re out of nice options. Talking didn’t work, budgeting didn’t work, pointing out reality doesn’t work.
Honestly I’d open two more checking accounts. Put the same amount in each that you agree on. That’s to cover treats. Anything from the joint needs to be discussed before hand. Set up a text alert to text when ANYTHING hits that account so you both immediately know when someone uses it.
And tell her to get a fucking job. It’s been a year. She doesn’t have a job because she doesn’t want one and you’re letting her get whatever she wants so she has zero reason to.
Trying to force you into a role you don't want, and giving you the silent treatment as punishment when you disagree with him = red flags. I wouldn't tolerate it.

Hey OP. your lives do sound pretty good. Small town though, and motherhood… It effects women jn a way men don't quite get.
She needs a more clear return date for sure, she can't just bugger off, but.. breathing room. Parenting, it does things to you. For some people a part of you dies.. you love the child and partner, though struggle internally… and talk therapy doesn't help.
There should be some rules around it. But there are alot of people saying she is bad in some way. This isn't necessarily true.. Best x
