Yeah, I know I'll get shit but sorry for not being able to change who I am. I know we live in an era where men are more encouraged to be sensitive and stuff, that's not what I'm against. Everyone led a different life, different trauma, different experiences. So don't go judging who see things differently. It's not like you could understand unless you literally went through what me or OP went through.

'How dinner is managed in our house is very convenient' – he left out 'for HIM'!! He wants you to have a full time job and also do all the cooking and preparing his lunch. Tell him he gets to choose one or the other because you are not doing both!

He is being hypocritical – when you do cook it is showing him love but when he is asked to do it, it is a 'chore'. It can't be a chore for him but not a chore for you. That's not how it works.

He is being unfair and if I were you, I would be looking for somewhere else to live. Let him be responsible for his own meals 24/7 and see how much 'love' he feels then. He's digging his own grave in this relationship.

Yeah… ugh I’m so grateful to have been able to get the input of others bc without it, I’d continue thinking I was the unreasonable one

Being unaware of Women’s day isn’t completely out of your control. Simply reading a newspaper, watching any media, or pay attention to your surroundings while outdoors would had reminded you about Women’s day. Most likely you unconsciously ignored it.

Claiming complete unaccountability makes you a person who don’t want to improve in this regard.

You could had say: “Hey, I’m sorry babe. I was too preoccupied with myself to notice, which I understand is hurtful. I’ll make sure to make Women’s day next year a proper celebration, to you and all important women in my life. Thanks for pointing it out.”

Instead of going full defensive and belittling it.
