Get a DNA test if she shows up with a kid she claims is his in eight months, but until then, I'd assume the pregnancy is a lie (and also the rest). It sounds like he also needs a restraining order and to pursue legal action if she is repeatedly harassing him or you (it should be possible to get restrictions in place that still allow for whatever coparenting arrangement they have).

I'm in the UK so we get 12 months and then any holiday accrued in the year, with my first that ended up being like 16 months. I absolutely loved my first maternity leave because one baby is easy peasy, you can run your whole life around nap time but second time around a three year old and a newborn was just insane. I feel like I've been spinning plates for a whole year and I'm so ready for a break. I am eternally grateful to have had a long paid maternity leave, lots of women around the world don't have that privilege but it will certainly be nice to not just be a mum all the time
