It sounds like you're feeling frustrated and unsure about how to move forward in your relationship. It's normal to feel concerned when you and your partner have different levels of ambition or when you feel like you're not on the same page. The most important thing in this situation is to communicate openly and honestly with your partner. It's okay to let them know how you're feeling and to express your concerns. You could try saying something like, “I love you and I care about you, but I'm feeling frustrated that our levels of ambition don't seem to match. I want to see you grow and achieve your goals, and I'm willing to support you in any way I can. Can we talk about this and figure out how we can move forward together?” Remember that it's important to be open and honest with your partner, and to try to work through your issues together. If you're unable to come to a resolution, or if you feel like the relationship is not healthy or supportive, it may be worth considering ending the relationship. Ultimately, the decision is up to you and what you feel is best for your well-being.
As a woman i'll say; yes its an important day. But its important because you marry your loved one, not 5k of flower decorations, 2k pie etc. Shes spoiled. Reconsider ur priorities..
No, obviously no one is really forced, but that's at least what you're supposed to do as a good adult? Like i've never seen someone say “no I don't forgive you” in real life. I don't know, but I was always told to then swallow my feelings and forgive, “be the bigger person”.
Honestly it would just be uncomfortable and hard, and make me seem like an ass, because the other person hasn't done anything wrong. So I keep being friendly and hope they get the hint. that's not that uncommon, right?

You’re friends not romantic partners, right? So…makes sense that he has no expectations. You’re way over thinking this.
I feel like wanting to be in that situation so that I can send that message lmao
Reminds me of a song…
