I had a ex who woke me up in the middle of the night and asked me what woman I was just texting. I was dead sleep and only woke up because she was shaking me. She was adamant that she just saw my phone in my hand and saw me texting somebody, and we never got past that.

Honestly there was nothing wrong with what you wrote. Everyone knew exactly what Bob did, you were just the only one with the courage to come out and say it.
Ill never understand people like Alice who keep snakes like Bob around, if that was my friend group I would have told them to make a choice – him or me. Frankly, the fact that I would have had to even tell them would make Me question whether they are real friends.
Hold your ground on this, if Alice or her fiancé try to lay this on you, tell them “you know what kind of a person Bob is and what he has done“.
You can’t expect more better things from that person who loves to play mind games , as a man here the mature man if being serious towards someone there will be more initiate conversations and will always be open and honest .
