I don’t really have much advice, but I do know that “swear words” are stored in their own pocket of your brain that you reach for when you feel pain or drop something etc. They’re like an automatic response almost.
Working on breathing exercises and emotional regulation exercises will be the most important thing, but in the meantime, try changing the words in your automatic bank. No matter the situation, try shifting from harsh curse words to softer or even comical words. It’ll take conscious effort but I’ve found my automatic words changing both consciously and unconsciously over the years, so I reckon it can be done.
But look into self regulation and conflict deescalation skills too. DBT has a lot of useful ones.
