I’ve been in the exact same shoes as you. When I was with my ex I had this fear that even if we were around other women, there was no reason at all to be jealous but my brain would find a reason to be. My ex was amazing and incredibly loyal and trust worthy. He was reassuring, and well an absolute gem. But unfortunately I projected a lot of my jealousy and insecurities onto him, leading in anger and heated discussions. In the end I discovered my jealousy was driven by my own insecurities. And although I still get jealous, which is a completely normal human reaction, I’ve noticed that through speaking positively to myself and loving the person I am, the jealousy isn’t as vivid as it was. Comparing yourself to others can be self torture, but re-enforcing to yourself all the amazing characteristics you have yourself in those moments when you can feel jealousy rising, I promise it will help.

Idk about your experience but most 22yr olds I've met (including myself here too) are/were idiots.
If it were an established male photographer and not a friend I think this would be totally different.
