At the absolute least, your wife is making herself seem untrustworthy by deleting texts. Which you know she did, because of the reasons you’ve described.

And on top of that, there’s a strong suspicion that there is at least an emotional affair going on with this new male colleague.
If she really wanted to have a successful marriage with you, I would think she would be doing anything she could to assuage your insecurities about her behavior.
